First of all, I would love to wish for those celebrating and specially the Hindus all over the world, a Happy Thaipusam celebration.
Amid uncertainty in global economical and political situation, the Hindus are keeping the spirit of Thaipusam alive with carrying on the activities often seen during this auspicious day. This time around I am celebrating this special day with Penangites in Penang, Malaysia. Penang is another place in Malaysia where Thaipusam is celebrated in grand besides Batu Caves, Selangor. The special in Penang celebration is that we will be able to see a larger variety of people with different believes together celebrate with Hindus. It is so heart warming watching Malaysians are enjoying special day together irrespective of religion and race. I hope this will continue with other celebrations not only in Malaysia but all around the world.
